Painted in one of Telemaco Signorini’s works, this apartment is located in the small village of Settignano, at the top of a hill around Florence. Layered over the centuries, the original XV century structure, with a wooden ceiling, was part of a convent. It has been expanded twice, in the XIX century with a brick-vaulted volume, and in the 90’s. with a fracture and the addition of another volume. The renovation will reveal the history of the building stratifications, adding a new layer.
