Villa renovation, Marina di Pisa (ongoing)

The refurbishment regards a Liberty villa of the beginning of the XX century, located in the main square of Marina di Pisa, facing the Mediterranean. The two-story volume will be connected through new interior stairs, and all the spaces will be completely renovated.

House renovation, Pisa (ongoing)

The building is an XVIII century annex of a Villa, located in the countryside of Pisa, originally meant to be the servants’ house. In the 70s, Massimo Carmassi and Gabriella Ioli restored it, one of their first works. The project will transform the interior spaces and the facades, with attention to preserving the intervention of the Italian golden medal architect.

Tenuta, Lecce (ongoing)

The project consists of the expansion of a historical Tenuta in the heart of Salento, Puglia. Squeezed between a vineyard and an olive grove, the new constructions will include several functions connected to the farmhouse activity, together with the proposal of a smart-working lifestyle, with a co-working space and apartments.

House renovation, Settignano

Painted in one of Telemaco Signorini’s works, this apartment is located in the small village of Settignano, at the top of a hill around Florence. Layered over the centuries, the original XV century structure, with a wooden ceiling, was part of a convent. It has been expanded twice, in the XIX century with a brick-vaulted volume, and in the 90’s with a fracture and the addition of another volume. The renovation will reveal the history of the building stratification, adding a new layer.

How to organize an exhibition in the COVID19 time?

The Italian Embassy in Santo Domingo, directed by Andrea Canepari, asked us to design a virtual museum to display the reportage picture of the Italian photographer Andrea Vierucci, together with other historical photos. The exhibition was supposed to be held in Santo Domingo, but, due to the coronavirus issue, it has been cancelled. To show the result of this research, we’ve designed an entire virtual museum, to be experienced thanks to the virtual reality.
